We Serve a Prayer Answering God!

When I was reading this quote today, I really wanted God to show me what His insights are into this particular quote. So, I started praying that God would enlighten me. One things that God is TRULY GREAT at is answering the prayers of His saints!! So, I felt that I should just keep praying, keep meditating on this quote, and keep writing this because of this. I’ve learned many things about our God in the 25 years that I’ve served Him. One of the great things that I’ve learned about Him is that it’s, often, important to step out in faith and let Him catch you as He fulfills His part of the promise!

Now, you might be wondering how this could happen this way, so I’m going to tell you! Have you ever tried to do something that you were just sure would NEVER work?  How easy was that? How much fun was it?  It’s like making a record that you don’t believe will sell a single copy. How silly!  We inherently know that would be silly and fruitless. Why would that be silly and fruitless?  Well, I’m so glad that you asked!

First of all, WHY on God’s green Earth would a person go to all of the trouble, expense, and effort to make a record that they thought would go no further than their bedroom recording studio?  To be honest with you, I don’t believe that they would. I believe that if someone went to all the effort of properly recording a production, then the belief in the product is unspoken, but completely real.

We, as intelligent human beings, don’t normally tend to put all of our time, effort, and money into things that we don’t believe will accomplish anything. That’s JUST NOT the way that it works.

So, back to the Andrew Murray quote.

If a person is making music that they are COMPLETELY convinced will be loved by and a blessing to others, then that person will, innately enjoy the music and the production of it. In the same way, if a Christian truly believes that God hears and answers our prayers, then we will, absolutely, LOVE offering those prayers to Him!

So, the next time that you pray, go to God like a child who believes that his or her Father will bless them with all of the best that he can bless them with. God will LOVE that!!! When God is pleased, then it is His pleasure to bless His children.  Believe that God wants to give you great things because He truly does!

Luke 12:32  Do not be afraid and anxious, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. (Amplified)

God WANTS to give you great things. He WANTS you to be happy and fulfilled. His only requirement is that you put Him first in your life which is His rightful place. This is what God’s Word says:

Matthew 6:33

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

So, if we put it all together, we know that God teaches us that if we believe that The God that we serve is a God who hears and answers our prayers, then we will be people who love to pray!!! It’s an unending circle too! The more that we pray, then the more that we will LOVE to pray and, then the more that we love to pray, the more that we will pray!!!

So, remember that you have to believe that God is a prayer answering God because, in God, you get what you expect. Well, in life, you pretty much get what you expect. So go to God expecting Him to be kind to you and to want to bless you and He will! It’s really not complicated.

Remember that God loves you SO MUCH and LONGS to give you the keys to The Kingdom. Let’s seek Him today believing that He is waiting for us to come to Him and that He has BIG rewards that He wants to give to us!!

Joyce Meyer 3030 Challenge

Getting ready to keep my promise for participating in the Joyce Meyer 3030 Challenge!!! I’m so excited at all that God is doing for me through this challenge!!! As usual, Satan is challenging me in my health as I endeavor to grow in my spirit, but the JOKE IS ON him!!!! You see. Every challenge he presents to destroy me, God uses His AWESOMENESS to change it into a life lesson! HAHA….  So, no matter what that sneaky serpent tries to do to make me stumble, he fails! How amazing is that!!!! 
 
God made it clear in Genesis 3 that that there would be hostility between the offspring of woman and the offspring of the serpent.
 
Here is the scripture.
 
Gen 3:15
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
 
Well, since we already KNOW, as Paul Harvey would have said, “….the rest of the story.”, we know that, while Satan does make a truly valiant effort and even win some battles, he DOES NOT win the WAR!!! PRAISE GOD!!!
 
So, as you enter your day, my friend, my prayer for you is that you will have victory in Jesus. He loves you. It’s also my prayer that you will join me in the Joyce Meyer 3030 challenge. It’s not about how much you do. It’s about getting as much as you can get from WHATEVER you do and being faithful to be in God’s Word EVERY day. Doing that will bring us the long sought victory that God has promised to those who belong to Him.
 
Thanks for listening and I pray that each of you is blessed with God’s sweet Spirit and that you too will make the decision to serve Him no matter what comes in your life. Let me promise you that it’s so much better to go through it WITH HIM than to endure it all without Him.

Our Country’s Loss of a Truly Inspiring Man

I became fascinated with Communications and Relationships in the early 1990s when Gary Smalley released his video series Hidden Keys To Loving Relationships. Dr. Smalley’s techniques and observations are not only very insightful, but they are also so down to earth that they can be easily understood by nearly anyone.

I’m sad to say, however, that I saw online today that Dr. Smalley has passed away at age 75. To see this news just broke my heart as he has been the primary inspiration for all that I try to do in my ministry as a life coach and a Bible teacher. He was a man that helped millions of people to have better relationships with their families as well as with their God.

If you aren’t familiar with his work, then I highly encourage you to update yourself. He certainly had a God given gift to be able to help people heal their relationships. I and the world will miss him greatly.

And to Dr. Smalley, “This world is a MUCH better place for having you in it. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. Until we meet again, my friend, congratulations on your new home with Our Magnificent God!
